  Aim:  To enable those working in health improvement to better meet the needs of ethnic minority groups and individuals in Fife. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course participants will have: 
  • An increased understanding of how to engage effectively with ethnic minority groups and individuals
  • An increased awareness of health issues particularly relevant to people from different ethnic minority backgrounds
  • An appreciation of how to ensure equitable access to services.
 Prospective participants:  Those with a professional interest in health improvement who would like to develop their understanding of the ethnic minority populations in Fife. Course length:           Half day, (morning)  Facilitators:                Tecla Wight, Community Development Worker, Frae FifeDaksha Patel, Health Advocacy Worker, Frae FifeLaura Henderson, Senior Health Promotion Officer, Health Promotion Fife
